Batch Made Peach Tea

This cocktail pairs the smooth taste of Bourbon with the sweetness of a peach liqueur.

A couple of weeks ago I Started a new series on Batched cocktails.

To remind you what a batched cocktail is—making them by the pitcher or the gallon—means that when you're hosting, you don't have to also be filling shakers and knocking over the bitters, rattling ice and accidentally squirting yourself in the eye with lemon juice. The drinks are made. Dinner will come later. Just pour and join your guests.

Few things are more refreshing than an ice-cold glass of sweet tea on a hot summer day. It's even better when you spike that tea with whisky, and this summer peach tea recipe does that in a deliciously simple way.

This cocktail pairs the smooth taste of Bourbon with the sweetness of a peach liqueur. Once you brew your favorite iced tea, it comes together quickly.

Tips

Add sparkle with a splash of club soda or ginger ale.
Split the tea with an equal part of lemonade for a fun twist on the spiked Arnold Palmer.
If you'd like to take a break from whiskey, (not really sure why you might want this but to each their own) pour a shot of rum, tequila, or vodka in this cocktail.
